Virgin Atlantic and British Airways offer direct flights from London to Lagos. KLM and Lufthansa are also decent options with very short layovers in Amsterdam and Paris, respectively.

Visa Application
If you do not hold a Nigerian Passport, you'll need to apply for a Nigerian Visa.
Click on 'Visa Application' and then 'Apply for Visa' on the website for the Nigerian High Commission, United Kingdom (https://www.nigeriahc.org.uk/immigration/). You'll be redirected to https://oisservices.com/ where you need to create an account, fill in and pay for your visa application, and then book an appointment. Yes, you will need to attend an appointment in person to submit your application and passport. They say it would take 5 working days to process, but please plan for it to take longer.
Here is a document checklist for your visa application. Please ensure your application includes each of these requested documents:
1)International Passport/Travel Document with a minimum of 6 months validity
