Fast forward a few months. David was unwinding at a yoga retreat in Morocco, when the World Cup final between Argentina and France captured the world's attention. David was rooting for Messi to claim the one trophy missing from his legendary career. After an intense match that went to penalties, Messi's Argentina won the match.

Excited to share in the celebration, David turned to Twitter, hoping to find fellow Messi supporters. Instead, his timeline was flooded with Mbappé fans, and even his WhatsApp groups were buzzing with anti-Messi sentiment. But then, like a beacon of hope, appeared a tweet from Lolade celebrating Messi's victory (Fun fact: Lolade isn't even a big football fan - she claims to support Arsenal, but we'll save that debate for another day! 😉)
